Oxford Register Office Wedding
Oxford Register Office Wedding. The starting point for this epic two day wedding celebration. Courtney and Dan, a seriously amazing couple with huge hearts and an insatiable appetite for life. Every moment charged with emotion. Their families and friends were incredible too and before I go any further I’d just like to say thank you! Thank you for letting me into your lives for those two precious days and making me feel so wonderfully welcome. I wish we could do it all over again!
Back to Oxford Register and the Wedding Photography. Situated in an attractive Victorian building on the corner of Tidmarsh Lane. Oxford Register Office is overlooked by a beautiful medieval Norman castle. Better still just yards away from the Dukes Cut Pub! A perfect setting for an intimate ceremony on a warm sunny day. Courtney, originally from the United States had fallen for Dan, a rather handsome tall Englishman. Courtney’s extremely close family had flown in from Washington to be even closer. This was one of those special days where you could really feel the love!
Now it’s usual that the Bride and Groom are the centre of attention. Especially the Bride. However, there was a little man intent on upstaging them. One of the cutest little Page Boys you’ll ever meet. Dan’s Nephew, a little star who I’d expect to see on the big screen one day. Awesome little fella!
The Civil Ceremony was held in the Dexter Room. The largest ceremonial room available for a Oxford Register Office Wedding. Tears of joy flowed during and after the ceremony. The Bride, the moms, the dads, siblings and the Groom!
After the ceremony we headed off for a photo walk around nearby Oxford Castle. Soon the tears of joy turned to squeals of laughter as Courtney and Dan enjoyed their first moments of married life. Fittingly, Dan being a proper traditional Englishman then led his beautiful wife Courtney in the direction of the nearest pub. A fitting end to day one and a well deserved pint!
To be continued at Notley Abbey . . .
