A Devonshire Terrace Wedding in the Autumn is the subject of todays blog. While some couples prefer a summer wedding these guys opted for September. The wedding began at the lovely St James’s Church in Paddington. The church is near Lancaster Gate with constant traffic along Hyde Park. The interior of the church is serene and separate from the noisy outside world. A beautiful space. So is the bride who is originally from Malaysia. The Groom is from from the UK and they both originally met at University. There’s a good turnout of guests from Malaysia which is lovely.
The weather stays dry for the confetti and group photo’s but only just. Without haste the guests head off by coach to the City of London for a Devonshire Terrace Wedding party. Devonshire Terrace is a modern European bar. It has a glass roof and is hidden between Petticoat Lane and the Gherkin. A very stylish venue for a City Wedding. The bride and groom look fabulous. The guests look pretty sharp too. So good that there are plenty of selfie sticks recording the moment for social media. Some couples ban wedding photo’s being posted on Facebook and Instagram. However this couple seem pretty relaxed.
Devonshire Terrace Wedding awesome!
Devonshire Terrace serves a fantastic wedding breakfast. The drinks are flowing and everyone is in a great mood. When the best men deliver their speeches the level of laughter gets higher. Brilliant speeches and a very embarrassed groom. Outside the heavens have opened and the hammering rain on the glass roof almost drowns the speeches out. After speeches the couple takes some time out for a couples photo walk. Then we take a few group photos of close family and friends. Soon it’s time for the first dance after cutting the cake. Everyone is happy and a fantastic party completes the day.
