Horniman Bandstand Wedding

A Horniman Bandstand Wedding in the summer is simply stunning. Especially if the great British Summer delivers. It’s also a wonderful South London venue for an intimate stylish wedding. This couple pulled of a stunning day which the bride organised single handedly whilst several months pregnant. The groom works overseas for a famine relief NGO. This meant they had a limited window before the groom was travelling again. It was definitely a very successful Horniman Bandstand Wedding and lots of happy memories created on the day. The wedding itself was short and intimate. Just before the wedding was a Farmers Market which is held every Saturday morning. Thankfully it’s all clear by 2pm otherwise life could get complicated! The bride and groom looked stunning. Very fitting for a picturesque Horniman Bandstand Wedding at the Horniman Museum and Gardens. One of things I loved about this wedding was all the children.

The grounds of the Horniman are fantastic. There’s a stunning sunken garden in full bloom. Gorgeous views across London and lovely landscaped spaces. Then there’s the bandstand itself. A unique place for a wedding ceremony and another alternative to the Horniman Conservatory. The weather at this wedding was blisteringly hot. So it was with much relief that ice creams were handed out to all the guests. The children squealed with delight and twirled around the bandstand in ecstasy. After the ceremony the guests posed for group photos before the obligatory confetti throwing. There were plenty of onlookers enjoying the spectacle and wishing the couple a happy life together. After this the newly weds took a short walk with me around the grounds for a couples walk. Finally the wedding party headed of to a nearby restaurant to continue the celebration. A wonderful couple embark on a new life together.
