London Antiques Photographer
As a London Antiques Photographer, Antiques photography was my initial springboard to my career in commercial photography and I still continue to take on many commissions annually alongside wedding, event, and portrait reportage photography.
My clients are mostly private collectors and dealers (UK and International) and my images have been featured in exhibitions, books, trade and speciality magazines, brochures, catalogues and the national press. I work quickly, discreetly and ensure that all of my clients details remain completely confidential. Pricing is available on application. I also have experience bidding at auctions including Sotheby’s on behalf of clients. As well as collecting the winning bid for photography before delivering safely to my clients.
I recently completed a very exciting project which was the culmination of several years of photography for the book ‘300 Years of Tobacco Stoppers’ by Alastair Leslie. This involved photographing over 1,500 Tobacco Stoppers of all shapes and sizes and different materials. Much of the work was shot at my London Studio. Others were photographed on location all over the UK at various museums and in private collections. The book is considered as the defining book on the history of Tobacco Stoppers.
As a London Antiques Photographer I photograph all types and sizes of antiques in a variety of materials including glass, metal, wood, ceramics, bone, ivory etc. Depending on size, objects can be photographed in my studio or in situ. Sometimes a home, showroom, gallery or museum.
I’m always excited by a new or unusual piece and I’m very particular about detail and lighting.
