London Wedding Photography – WPS Award

Loving all things London Wedding Photography so it’s thrilling to receive this award from WPS. Even more so as this is the second award from those lovely people at Wedding Photography Select!

This image was captured at the beautifully renovated St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in Kings Cross. The couple flew in from Holland to be married here. The Groom is English and his stunning Bride is Danish. They were married in a Danish religious ceremony conducted by a priest from the Danish Church in London. Following the ceremony we did a couples walk around the hotel. The shot was captured as they walked through the Booking Office restaurant on the way to the Eurostar platform. The Groom is a ‘train spotter’ and insisted on photo’s with a Mark3 TGV in the background. A few administrative hurdles had to be overcome before getting permission for the shoot. Thank you Network Rail!

What makes this photo, apart from the handsome couple is the emotions and reactions captured all at once. The joy and happiness of the newlyweds. Then the hotel worker in the background looking on in awe. A seated commuter taken by surprise. Possibly dazzled by the Bride’s beaming smile. She radiates so much beauty and happiness. What a smile!

Hopefully you’ll agree with the WPS that this was a worthy winning example of London Wedding Photography. The Wedding Photography Select website is a fantastic wedding resource for Brides and Grooms. The website showcases Inspirational Wedding Photographers and Wedding Photography. It also simplifies choosing your wedding photographer. London Wedding Photography is a large part of my work so it means a lot to be recognised by them. The website also has a listing for other wedding related suppliers. Flowers, cakes, decorations, marquees etc, you get the picture!
