Oxo Tower Wedding – Clare and Joe
An Oxo Tower wedding is just perfect if you’re looking for a stylish combination of great food, superb service and spectacular views across the Thames and City of London. This Oxo Tower Wedding started with a very special couple exchanging vows in the Reception Room at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in Westminster. The great British Summer didn’t disappoint. A sudden downpour as guests gathered for group shots, but not enough to deter anyone from enjoying the occasion. From here the guests were ferried by cab to the 250 ft Landmark Tower on the Southbank, the Oxo Tower. Originally built as a power station it was bought by the makers of Oxo that well known stock cube. Thankfully that wasn’t on the menu and Clare and Joe’s guests were in for a super treat.
Oxo Tower Wedding continued.
Champagne and canapés were served on the terrace on the 8th floor. The sun had pierced the rainy clouds and for a majestic view across the river Thames. A pianist played in the background accompanied by a jazz singer. Clare and Joe met me at ground level for some fun photo’s on the embankment and Oxo Tower block. Clare and Joe have a huge appetite for life and every moment working with them was fun, fast and furious!
As you re-enter the restaurant you’re greeted again by smiling staff and the appetising smells from the kitchen as the Wedding Breakfast is served. Sumptuous, sizzling plates of gourmet food fed to the hungry guests! Inside the restaurant it’s a great social space. Lots of light and everyone is close enough for conversations and speeches to carry across the tables. More Champagne, more toasts and then back on the terrace for more fun as the sun sets across London in the West.
