A Queens House Greenwich wedding full of loving emotion is an incredible event to witness. And this Anglo/Greek wedding was packed with every emotion from infectious laughter to tears of joy. So it’s true to say that I always enjoy weddings at the Queens House Greenwich because they’re always fabulous. This epic Greenwich wedding venue always promises a memorable wedding day. And this wedding didn’t disappoint because I loved every moment and the bride and groom truly were the stars of the day. They had so much love for each other. Hardly a minute would pass without them glancing lovingly towards each other. So it seems they would find any excuse for a passionate kiss. Everyone could see that they were made for each other! Furthermore their family and guests could feel the love. Maybe that’s why there was often a little tear of happiness rolling down someones cheek!
So the day began with brides preps at the De Vere Hotel, Devonport House because it was just a few minutes walk away. Followed by a beautiful ceremony in the Queens House Greenwich Great Hall with a ceiling recently painted by noteworthy Turner Prize-winning artist Richard Wright. After the ceremony guests were treated to music and canapés in the Orangery. Because the weather was gorgeous guests could spill out into the gardens overlooked by Greenwich Observatory. Finally another emotional event with the speeches and wedding breakfast held in the Governors Parlour.
Seems like every time I photograph a wedding at the Queens House Greenwich it’s a great day. Consequently I can’t wait to go back. And perhaps because it’s the perfect venue for couples. Furthermore it has all the ingredients to make a momentous wedding day. So if you want to get married in style maybe consider the Queens House Greenwich.
