Savile Club Wedding photography is hard to beat. The Savile Club is a historic meeting place in Mayfair that was established in the 18th Century. Once the hangout of the famous Bee Gee’s 70’s supergroup! This wedding started promptly at Christ’s Chapel of Gods Gift next door to the Dulwich Picture Gallery. The purpose built gallery that was created to house the art collection commissioned by King Leopold of Poland. It’s now one of the best public art galleries in the UK. Kasha and David’s Savile Club Wedding was a wonderful day. Despite attempts from Icelands volcano to cast a cloud of ash over the day! Kasha looked beautiful in her wedding dress and made a special entrance to Christs Chapel as David and their guests were waiting. I had a marvellous time covering their wedding day at Christs Chapel and the Savile Club. It’s why I love my job.
Savile Club Wedding continued.
Following the service guests were transported by open top London bus to the exclusive Savile Club for a 5 star reception. The Savile Club has an enchanting fairytale staircase leading up to the ballroom. Here guests enjoyed a fabulous wedding breakfast feast. There’s also a beautiful wood panelled bar leading to a private cosy courtyard. So plenty of space to entertain in style bang in the centre of London. Later on that evening Kasia and David had a special surprise arranged for their guests. A troupe of Polish Folk dancers from Orleta Polish Folk Dance Group. Lots of hand clapping, foot stomping and whooping. A very colourful display of traditional Polish dancing. A lovely touch and a hard act to follow for function band Mojo Band who pulled everyone to the dance floor. I wish the couple all the very best in their future lives together.
