That’s a title that carries a huge responsibility in my world. As a Wedding Photographer it’s a privilege to be interviewed by those rather nice people at Wedding Photography Select. They recently contacted me for a short interview regarding my thoughts, how I work and to admit to a couple of embarrassing moments! You’ll have to read here to find out more! If you’re also a Wedding Photographer you might find it interesting to compare notes. If you’re not then I hope it’s a small insight into how I work, how I visualise images and why I enjoy what I do.
Wedding Photographer approach
Every wedding photographer has a different approach to their work and I always enjoy reading how others go about wedding photography. Everyone is different and quite often reading about other photographers makes you think about things in a different way. We often face the same challenges but we don’t always tackle them the same way. Very often I’ll glean a little nugget, pick up my camera and go off and experiment. Ultimately there is one thing we all have in common. We have a passion for our work and I haven’t met one wedding photographer who’d want to be doing something else (despite all the moaning). As wedding photographers we get to meet some lovely people from every walk of life. We learn about different cultures and how they celebrate two people uniting for love. We get to travel to some amazing places and work in some stunning venues.
As a wedding photographer its a great way to end 2011 and start 2012! I hope I get future opportunities to share my thoughts, ideas and experiences that I’ve picked up over the years.
Happy new Year to you all. Especially the couples I worked with last year.
