A Whetsted Farm Wedding in beautiful Kent can deliver everything you want for an awesome day. It’s a lovely natural rural setting in the Kent countryside. Wise Wedding Venues do an impressive job at this magical Whetsted Farm Wedding location. Hence it’s more than just a chunk of English countryside. In contrast to most wedding venues it’s a farm with benefits. They have everything you need for a chilled out wedding especially if you want to personalise your big day. And that’s exactly what this couple did.

The farm is set within ten acres of mature oak, silver birch and hazel. There are open clearings and picturesque lakes. You can drift away in one of their suspended sofas, levitate on the seesaw armchairs or stroll through a labyrinth of illuminated pathways and discover a variety of lighting installations that come to life once the sun goes down. They also supply a beautiful traditional pole marquee with a cotton canvas exterior and block print internal lining. This provides a lovely setting for the breakfast banquet and the evenings festivities. There’s a unique bridal suite treehouse, positioned twenty five feet up an oak tree. It’s linked to the ground via a wooden spiral staircase so definitely not for the faint hearted.

The wedding had lots of very unique details to entertain their guests. Magical drinks and activities. Marshmallows and hot chocolate for the campfire. A fantastic Middle Eastern inspired wedding breakfast. Even a little van serving Mango lassi’s and Indian Chai. My favourite part of the day was the humanist ceremony led by Herne Hill based celebrant Mark Hayward. An uplifting and moving ceremony to mark such a special occasion for this very down to earth couple.

To round off the evening guests danced to a Ceilidh band. Some late rain didn’t stop fun at the bouncy disco dome. Finally there was plenty of space to pitch tents and sleep off the days festivities.
